to the question
why there is hope
Why there is hope – the answer to this question was the motivation of our unusual journey that we’ve startet for DGzRS – die Seenotretter. On the road for a community of people that are always ready to save someone else’s life.
At the center of the documentation was our travelogue on the microsite as part of the official homepage of www.seenotretter.de.
Our encounters were recorded in the form of entertaining blog entries in text, image and video.
Parallel to the extensive articles in the blog, a live documentary took place on the official “Seenotretter”-Twitter channel on that we reported daily about our, trip, our work and our impressions.
Bringing the subject of "Sea Rescue" to places that seem unusual and thus give the action a striking character was the basic idea.
To conclude that the DGzRS values, namely "freedom, community and safety", are valid for all kilometers traveled, was the conclusion of the project.
Border experienced: eye witness, activist and author Doris Liebermann in Berlin.
